Focused URL workflow

Turn a public page URL into an editable OG image

Import the page title, description and site name, verify what was detected, then shape the content into a deliberate share image.

Import public metadata, then design the card

The importer reads a public page, prefills editable fields and opens a focused template preview. Nothing is published back to your site.

URL to export in four deliberate steps

  1. 01

    Paste a public page URL

Use an HTTP or HTTPS page that is publicly reachable without credentials or a private-network connection.

  2. 02

    Review imported metadata

Confirm the title, description and site name. The declared social-image URL is evidence only; its pixels are not imported.

  3. 03

    Choose and edit a template

Apply one of eight layouts, then refine the text, spacing, colors and visual hierarchy in the local preview.

  4. 04

    Preview and export

Check the final composition and export PNG, JPEG or WebP for your publishing workflow.

URL import FAQ

URL import questions

What is fetched, what stays private and what you still control.

Which metadata can the importer read?

It follows supported public metadata fallbacks for the title, description, site name and declared social-image URL. Imported text remains editable.

Can it inspect localhost, an intranet or a private page?

No. The safety policy accepts only public HTTP or HTTPS pages and rejects local, private-network, credential-bearing and non-standard-port URLs.

Does importing download the declared OG image?

No. The image URL is reported as metadata evidence, but the remote image is not downloaded or inserted into the design.
